Consideration

Consideration . . . taking into account . . . how many of us practice consideration?  Do we truly give thought to how our actions may affect someone else?  Do we look beyond ourselves and think of the other?  Do we stop and think that what we do may cause issue for the one who comes behind us?

I don't think enough of us do.  Too often we look for the easiest means of getting the job done without giving consideration to the next person . . . take the quick road without seeing the casualties of our disregard.

Have you tried merging into traffic only to find no one wants to allow you in . . . God forbid you get there one car length before them!  Or been witness to rude behavior, either in person or perhaps on a social site . . . does the offender think how the other person may feel?  Most likely not.

In a society where children are killing themselves because of the lack of consideration imposed by others, we should each make an effort take time to take into account how our actions will affect the next person.

Where to begin . . .

Well,  I've thought for some time now that I would like to start a blog but just never got around to it.  I finally decided to take the plunge, so to speak, and just do it.  I'm not sure what I intend to accomplish, but I wanted some place to record my musings . . . my thoughts . . . my life.  Sometimes my head is so full of random ideas that I can't concentrate on any of them.  Maybe this will provide the outlet for which I have been seeking.  I can't promise to always be bright and sunshiny, but I will attempt to find a lesson in everything.  So, here's to finally following through on something . . .
